Our legacy traces back to my father, Karel Hoffman, the visionary founder of Hoffman Construction. Trained as a master cabinet maker in Prague, Czechoslovakia, he brought his craft to Cleveland as a refugee in 1949. Starting with a dream of a custom cabinet shop, he soon realized the need to adapt to the American market. A pivotal moment came when he efficiently revamped a door at Babin Window and Sash, earning recognition for his blend of craftsmanship and practicality. As the current president, I, Barry Hoffman, carry forward this tradition, having grown up immersed in the construction industry.
